The MEADOWS AT WOLF RUN, like most land in Hughesville, is located over the Marcellus Shale Formation.
This shale contains trillions of cubic feet of natural gas that is already being extracted in the area by new well rigs from many Texas companies. Possible royalties paid to land owners in the Meadows at Wolf Run could be very significant and could last 20 - 30 years.
For more information on the natural gas boom and to calculate possible royalties, please go to http://www.pagaslease.com/forum.
According to Keith Knighten, a landman for Mason-Dixon Energy, Inc., the current wells in the area have pulled 8 to 12 MMCF per day.
NO WELLS CAN BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE MEADOWS AT WOLF RUN DEVELOPMENT. A well needs approximately three (3) acres and our largest lot is 1.06 acres. The Meadows sub-division was leased to GFI Oil and Gas, Inc. GFI has assigned its leases to Whitmar Exploration and XTO Energy. For more information, please see http://www.GFIOG.com.
Lots are currently being sold with all sub-surface mineral rights. For lot financing, please call Woodlands Bank at 570-327-5263 and request to speak with Dave Abernathy.
